Chris Rock Responds to Will Smith’s Oscars Slap at Standup Show
Wednesday evening Rock broke his silence and addressed the topic at a standup show in Boston.
“Whoa, OK!” he exclaimed upon entering the stage at the Wilbur Theater dressed in all-white. Audience members in the 1,000-seat venue greeted the 57-year-old with a rock star’s welcome. Rock basked in the standing ovation, which thundered on for nearly two minutes, before he made another effort to get the ball rolling for the evening: “Yo, let me do the show!”
“How was your weekend?” he began with a knowing wink, drawing a wave of laughter. “I don’t have a bunch of sh*t about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m still kind of processing what happened. So, at some point I’ll talk about that shit. And it will be serious and funny.”
An audience member then chanted “F*+k Will Smith!” but Rock ignored the comment and began his hour-long set. “I’m going to tell some jokes,” he said. “It’s nice to just be out.” He went on with the show like a pro.

Bruce Willis Stepping Away From Hollywood
‘Imagine being dropped in a country where you don’t speak the language – cannot understand, read, write or speak’
Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with the degenerative brain condition aphasia. He will be ‘stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him’. The Condition affects one’s ability to understand both verbal and written language. The family’s announcement comes after years of speculation about the Die Hard star’s mental condition He can be seen using an earpiece in a clip from his new film American Siege.
‘He just seemed sidetracked’: Stunt double who worked alongside Bruce Willis for 17 years reveals how star deteriorated over last few months and is now also ‘a little leaner’.
Previous reports noted how Willis’ memory had begun to fail and that he needed to use earpieces in order to remember lines, such as when he performed on Broadway in Misery,
‘He would use an earwig on occasion just to help out, especially if it was very dialogue-heavy and we just flew in. He’s got all this stuff to do. And he just got off another film. So a lot of times we use earwig stuff just to make it easier for production.’
Films actually have had to be made closer to where Willis resided with his family – who has been taking care of the actor – to make productions easier.

Eric Church angers fans After he CANCELED a sold-out concert so he can watch his beloved UNC Tar Heels take on Duke in Final Four
As a lifelong Carolina basketball fan, I’ve watched Carolina and Duke battle over the years but to have them matchup in the Final Four for the first time in history of the NCAA Tournament is any sports enthusiast’s dream,’ Church said in his statement to fans, before confessing his decision ‘is the most selfish thing’ he’s ever asked of his fans to do.
Here is what he said:
‘As a lifelong Carolina basketball fan, I’ve watched Carolina and Duke battle over the years but to have them matchup in the Final Four for the first time in history of the NCAA Tournament is any sports enthusiast’s dream.’ he went on to say: ‘This is also the most selfish thing I’ve ever asked the Choir to do: to give up your Saturday night plans with us so that I can have this moment with my family and sports community.’ He ended by quoting Woody Durham, the play by play announcer for the North Carolina Tar Heels from 1971 to 2011: ‘Go where you go and do what you do.’ thanks for letting me go here and be with the Tar Heels.’
Fans are not happy. He does so much for his fans, the Church Choir. I am sure he will make good for San Antonio.
Beckham Burglary Horror
A masked burglar has broken into the Beckham family home in West London and made off with thousands of pounds’ worth of valuables.
The thief forced their way into a spare upstairs bedroom at the £40m mansion in Holland Park and ransacked the place while David, Victoria and 10-year-old daughter Harper relaxed downstairs completely unawares.
The break-in, on February 28, was not discovered until 17-year-old Cruz returned home from a night out and stumbled upon the upturned bedroom and spotted broken glass from a window on the floor. The burglar is thought to have been part of a gang which targeted at least two other houses in the area on the same night.
