Kate Moss Expected to Testify for Johnny Depp in Trial
Kate Moss is expected to be called to the stand this week in Johnny Depp’s defamation trial against Amber Heard. The British fashion icon will reportedly testify via video link on Wednesday in the Fairfax, Virginia, courtroom. Depp’s lawyers were spotted fist-pumping a few weeks back when Heard suddenly brought up Moss during her testimony. Legal experts explained at the time that Heard mentioning Moss on the stand could give her ex-husband’s team the chance to dispel a rumor that he pushed the supermodel down a flight of stairs when the two dated in the 1990s. “That’s one mistake that [Heard] made, was bringing up Kate Moss, which potentially opened the door to [Depp’s team] bringing [Moss] on as an impeachment witness” — and Moss “saying ‘This never happened,’” said California entertainment lawyer Mitra Ahouraian. A source close to Depp told The Post: “Amber mentioned an ex of Johnny’s that clearly she felt was not supportive of him, which couldn’t be further from the truth.”

62% Pretend They Can’t Cook So They Don’t Have To Help
Six in 10 millennials (62%) have pretended not to know how to cook to avoid having to help. A new survey of 3,000 U.S. adults, which also found that more than half (55%) said they are often reluctant to grill. Most find ready-made meal kits to be more convenient (49%), or simply think others are better at grilling (48%). The survey also found that millennials were the most likely to grow up watching their parent or guardian cook food on a grill (69%). Nearly four-fifths (78%) also believe the student has surpassed the teacher — meaning that they believe they’ve developed better skills than that parent themselves. Regardless of generation, the average respondent takes over grilling duties from their parents at age 16, with 58% saying they’ve taught their parent how to cook certain foods on the grill. A whopping 75% of millennials have taught older generations to grill certain foods. And it’s never too early to grill. Fifty-three percent of millennials said they’ve grilled their breakfast, compared to only 24% of boomers.
Crews Remove last Functioning pay phone in new York city
Officials held a ceremony Monday as the last public pay phone stall was removed in New York City, marking what they called “the end of the pay phone era.” It may have been the last public pay phone in the city, but there are still privately-owned pay phones and four permanent, full-length “Superman” phone booths. The city began removing the pay phones in 2015 as they became obsolete and replacing them with public Wi-Fi hotspots. Since then, the city has removed thousands of pay phones across all five boroughs. In 2014, there were more than 6,000 active public pay telephones on city sidewalks. They were originally slated to be removed by 2020, but the process took longer than expected. City officials said on the website that the public pay phones, which provided free access to 911 and 311 non-emergency city services, were still used for regular calls and long-distance calls, but their usage had gone way down.
