McDonald’s Is Bringing Back Szechuan Dipping Sauce

There is perhaps nothing that sums up Rick and Morty better than the Great Szechuan Sauce Incident of 2017, which stemmed from the show referencing the limited-edition dipping sauce McDonald’s offered as a promotional item in conjunction with the release of Mulan in 1998. According to a press release, the condiment will be making its grand return on March 31st until supplies last; anyone who orders McNuggets through the app will have the chance to add a single serving of the dipping sauce for free (if you’re looking to stock up, you can pay more to get up to five cups per order).

Coors Light Selling 6-Packs of Beer-Flavored Lollipops

Coors Light says they were inspired by research showing that sucking on lollipops and other hard candies can have a calming effect. Thus, these beer-flavored suckers — that are formulated to taste specifically similar to Coors Light and even include a foam-inspired layer on the top — are officially called “Chillollipops.” Coors Light says six-packs of Coors Light Chillollipops (which sadly don’t appear to be shipped in their promotional tiny six-pack holder) will be available for purchase for the duration of the NCAA basketball tournament via shop.coorslight.com for $3.17 — a price inspired by the start date of the first round of March Madness.

Maury Povich retiring from daily talk show after 31 years

Maury Povich is retiring, with the last original episodes of “Maury” set for broadcast in September after 31 years on the air. NBC Universal confirmed the impending exit of the 83-year-old Povich on Monday. “I’m so proud of my relationship with NBC Universal and all those who worked on the ‘Maury’ show but as I occasionally tell my guests on ‘Maury,’ enough already,” he said.

“Maury and I decided two years ago that this season would be the farewell season for the show, and while his retirement is bittersweet, we are so happy for him to be able to spend more time on the golf course,” said Tracie Wilson, executive vice president, NBC Universal Syndication Studios.  It was not immediately clear whether NBC Universal would try to start a similar-themed show or simply ride Povich’s reruns.

Bounce House Went Flying Through The Air

A mom in Hickory, North Carolina is warning other parents to use caution when setting up an inflatable bounce house. Ring camera footage shows that they were holding a birthday party when high winds sent the bounce house up in the air, slamming into the deck, flying out of view, and then crashing back down into the yard. Luckily most of the kids were in the house, so nobody was hurt.
