Thousands sign petition to rename Columbus, Ohio to ‘Flavortown’ after native son Guy Fieri

The city of Columbus, Ohio, has already vowed to bring down its statue of Christopher Columbus. But thousands are hoping to erase the city’s connection to Columbus’ legacy even further by renaming it Flavortown in honor of Columbus native Guy Fieri. Click here to sign the petition.

Fieri is a very “charitable man,” pointing to the fact that the famous restauranteur has helped raise more than $20 million for restaurant workers during the pandemic.

“That kind of optimism and charitable work embodies more of what Columbus, Ohio, is about rather than the tarnished legacy of Christopher Columbus,”

The actor-comedian collapsed in the middle of his stand-up set at a Nashville comedy club has announced that he tested positive for the coronavirus. The 57-year-old stunned patrons and employees when he lost consciousness while performing at the Zanies comedy nightclub on Friday night.

Amazon Delivery With Funny Instructions 

– Lynn Staffieri of Magnolia, Delaware, ordered some pet supplies on Amazon but failed to see the “additional instructions” that her teenage son had jokingly set as a default to their Amazon orders a few months earlier. 13-year-old Jacob Staffieri had included the following instructions for delivery drivers: “Knock on the door 3 times and scream abracadabra as loud as you can and run super fast away.” The family’s doorbell camera caught a delivery driver following those instructions exactly.
